Butch was eleven when he received his first camera and has been taking photographs ever since. He has owned studios for the past twenty years. Carrie was working in a portrait studio in college when they met and they have been working together ever since. They opened their current studio in Elkton in 1998. Their family has grown to include Zack, Malana, Katie, Alex and Evie - and their dogs Kodak and Leica.
